Odour assessment

At the request of Black & Veatch Ltd, Bord na Mona undertook a comprehensive monitoring of the relevant sourcer to assess emission from the WWTP at Ringsend.
Technology
As there were 2 distinct Lamella channels to be treated the Bord na Móna solution
was to install 2 MÓNASHELL skid-mounted modular biological filters each
containing sufficient MÓNASHELL media designed to treat 1600m3 air/hr with a
hydrogen sulphide load of 222ppm.
